Mount Tam that is.
I’ve been a photographer for the past decade and yet somehow this was the first time that I was in front of another professional’s camera.
I have admired Alyssa Luzaich Photography for a long time and I thought it was finally time that I had some sort of headshots. We drove out to the amazing Mount Tamalpais. (Does anyone know how to actually pronounce this?) And I’ve gotta say…as nervous as I was, once Alyssa started shooting all the nerves went away and I was able to let her do her thing. It was so eye opening as to how everyone else feels when they’re in front of my camera!
For the shoot I chose a white embroidered Zara dress, my trusty leather jacket and booties from Amuse Society.
And then I knew I had to change into a plain and simple jeans and tee. Cause after all…that’s who I really am. Low maintenance, easy going and super casual.
I brought along the one and only Rachelle. Rachelle has been my assistant for the past 3 years and I have loved having her by my side more than I can even describe. She is the usual 2nd shooter at my weddings and a serious source of encouragement and of course, laughter.
A big thank you to Stefanie Fritz makeup artistry for doing my makeup! She helped me feel confident and camera ready! I definitely recommend her for all your makeup needs.
